A few weeks ago I got rear ended in the ranger, luckily the damage was mainly to the bumper itself. I had originally just pulled out as much of the damage as I could then decided to just replace the whole thing with the ARB summit after dealing with Frank from stage3. Installation was extremely easy with my only issue being that my parking sensors are still blue. The bumper itself is built really nice, now I just need a reason to replace the front lol.

Pop those sensors back out and paint them. easy peasy. and they will still work. I painted my fronts with the lower valance.
I was just rear ended Aug 30. I am having it repaired as new since the truck is 4 months old.
Parts are on order but wont be here until mid October.

Thanks.

I'm considering painting my front valence and was curious about these. They come apart pretty easy?

Haha that's actually exactly what I told the wife when I was done putting it on.
I was going to paint my sensors but was afraid it would inhibit the function so that's nice to know I can.
The sensors were pretty easy to pop out. They just have a nub on both sides holding them in. Then after popping the sensor out if I remember right the sensor holders just pop out the other direction.

Looks like I've joined the rear ended club here . Not a club I wanted to join , especially since it seems to currently be all dudes :)

I had my Ranger a couple days shy of 2 weeks . Waiting to get a body shop estimate and timeframe on parts but have been looking at the aftermarket alternatives also . I'm undecided on how just changing out the rear would look with the front still being painted though .

Luckily mine is not too serious since it was just a love tap and not too hard .

Yeah that sentence sounds bad when you think about the first statement ,LOL .

The bumpers are actually multiple pieces, that painted piece unbolts with 6 bolts and a few plastic tabs. If the mounting brackets are unharmed then you can find the painted portion on ebay for $80-100 last I looked. My issue was none were blue and I wanted a reason to upgrade. My impact was probably only 15 mph or so. The guy actually stopped behind me at a red light then hit me before it turned green

This is the bumper that I want as well, I just wish that the corner tube guards came with it and not as a $400 add on

Hey Jawalke! Hope you're doing well man. Question for ya when you have a moment. You mentioned the install was easy. What parts did you have to take out from the OEM bumper? Or did the ARB bumper come with the tow hitch and what not? I'm thinking about switching as well and was trying to see how tedious the install would be but I can't find the instructions online.

Appreciate your time and input. Have a good day!

The arb bumper used most of the oem bumper. If I remember right you take the plastic cover and the steel shell off both sides of the oem bumper and the arb bumper gets attached to what’s left. If your truck already has a tow hitch then it will transfer to the arb bumper.

It’s all pretty easy to do and I thought the instructions were pretty easy to follow
