I'm looking to getting the fox 2.0 kit or the fordperformance version. If i ordered would I need to buy anything else with it? I would like to keep the same height. I would have it professional installed.
I purchased this kit from Ford website and had it installed at my local dealer install. There are no extra parts needed. The coilovers are adjustable, but I believe the warranty is voided if they adjust them at all from how it comes from Ford. Love the suspension by the way.

The instructions for the FP Fox kit call for most of the removed hardware to be replaced. That's probably the extra parts you are seeing.

Personally, I only replaced the axle nuts.

How much did they charge for the install?

If you don’t want to level and don’t off-road, you may wish to consider the Bilstein or Eibach products. Much less money and folks here that have them universally love them.

I believe it was 600 for the install plus alignment afterwards. But I did use the fordpass rewards from the purchase of the truck to cover some of it. The price at the dealer was actually the same or cheaper than the quotes I was getting from other shops.

Also I would keep an eye on the ford accessories website. When I bought the kit, they had a sale of 10% off 1000 dollars or more which helped save a little cash. Lately all i have been seeing on the website is deals for under 1000.

This may be a dumb question, but if I only buy the Ford Performance dampers for the rear will that affect the rake of the truck? I really just want to get a better ride in the back and want to lose my stock (non-FX4) shocks.

I originally replaced just my rear shocks with the Fox. It raised the back of my truck about 3/4" . But it definitely improved the ride.

No that shouldn't have any effect. The "leveling" part of the kit is the coilovers in front. Lots of people on here have really enjoyed the ride after changing the rears out.

I might consider it. I noticed fox, it wants you to do interval maintenance. Just wondering how many people actually do this?

did you take the axle all the way out of the hub, or just loosen it up a lot?

I am hoping to do this on Saturday.
