It's a transmitter...read PA66 upside down...it's 99VD....tuned to a secret govt. satellite so Uncle can keep tabs on your whereabouts....
I would be more worried if it was tuned so the wife could keep tabs on me.....

What material is it? Plastic? Some metal?

It's neat looking though.
The >PA66< indicates the material is PolyAmide 66, so Nylon.

My guess would be a hole cover for one of the small holes in the bed. Look up under the edges, and you may find it.

No clue what it is or where it came from, but it is the nicest one I have ever seen.

So, if they delete a tie down, but add a plug, doesn't that cancel out the missing parts in the "delete list" ???
Or should we start a "added parts you didn't know you had on/in your Ranger"

Plastic type material looks like a filler plug . Has a boss on far side with a slot cut in it. I figured it would be to plug a body hole, but I can't find a slot of that size.
Looks like the same shape as the larger rectangular holes along the bare bed rail. Maybe a plug that is removed when the rail caps are put on?
