I picked up a cheap adapter on Amazon, downloaded the software and went to town. I think it’s awesome. Turned off the double honk, turned off my seatbelt and start up chimes, fixed my missing climate controls (main reason) and a bunch of other stuff I can’t remember. A must must have for any ranger or f-series owner

changed my sync3 boot screen from the oval to the Raptor Ford performance screen that makes me grin like an idiot every time I get in.
I'm also going to fix fastblink when my LED front turns get in

There are a couple things I would like to tweak but aren't sure if FORScan is the right place. Hoping someone can tell me if FORScan is the tool for the job.

1) When in drive (D), if you push + once on the gear selector it displays the transmission gear scale on the dashboard display. This goes away every time the vehicle is started .Can something be tweaked so that it displays all the time?

2) HVAC fan speed. When using the HVAC on AUTO I feel the fan speeds are always too slow. I usually have to bump up the fan speed 2 or 3 times to get enough air movement. Can I modify the setting so that the fan speeds are greater with using AUTO?

Thanks,
Doug

As far as I know.

1) No
2) No

Forscan essentially changes module configurations/features that would otherwise be available in other vehicles (this is why its called "as-built" data).
It does not change the logic/programming of those modules.

Hi Juergen,

You mean like on stepping out of the truck to see or blinking for a turn?

Is there a method to get all doors to unlock when you open the driver's door with the engine running? Or shift into park?

Gets irritating when I jump out at a jobsite and have to constantly go back to unlock so I can drop the tailgate.

Hit the unlock button when you open the driver's door?

There's always one . I can't possibly be the only person that finds this irritating? Or am I?

Hows this instead.

I have this same problem! Get out with the engine running to grab something from the Bed or passenger seat and it’s still locked. It’s more annoying than an undampened tailgate for sure!

No there is not. I wanted the exact same thing and have never found a way to do it. I really wish it would just unlock all the doors when shifting into Park, that would solve the problem.
