Just ordered this. I rather use the key fob than the app. Got it for $156.00 at Ford Parts Giant.
Now I'm thinking about pulling the fuse for my telematics module, just don't like the idea of Ford selling my driving habits, if they just used it to improve their product I probably wouldn't mind.

Thanks for the install instructions made it simple. Only problem I ran into is the remote start didn't work at first. But thanks to micl9 with the install PDF I found out I needed the jumper and all is well now

Had some bad storms come through last night and found out the alarm works. The horn quit sounding after a minute or two (I was having trouble remembering key location) Since the horn stopped sounding before I retrieved my key I didn't bother to check on the truck. After a few minutes I looked out the window for storm damage and saw the truck lights still flashing so I reset the alarm and moved on with life.

But I did learn the alarm works, and the horn times out after a minute or two and the lights will stay flashing until I reset the alarm. If the lights time out I don't when. And I got notified by Ford Pass app that the alarm triggered.

I have had the Perimeter Plus module installed for a while now. The remote start works fine...when I can get the fob button sequence right. I have never been able to trigger any shock or vibration alarms with it, though...no honks when the door handles are pulled without the fob nearby.

All the Perimeter (PLUS) module does since you already have Remote Start with the Lariat trim is it adds the (shock) sensor which can be adjusted for sensitivity.

The regular standard PATs - Perimeter Anti Theft does not use the door handles as a trigger (input) it uses the door ajar switches.
To test - roll down the window - (simulate someone breaking the glass and reaching in to the interior door handle)
Lock the doors - this arms the alarm

Without any FOBs nearby - reach in and pull the interior door handle and open the door, the alarm will trigger or reach down and pull the hood release handle - the alarm will also trigger.

As far as the (shock) sensor - it relies on shock waves that are generated with the impact of something smashing into the vehicle like window breakage.
