I wish there were detailed steps as I’m not sure if you need to reset anything to trigger the relearnI just updated to the new Performance software, I did not go back to stock and then to the new software.
I did not have to “reset” anything. Once you have the new file connect it to the truck and select the performance tune just like the first time.Do you know the version of the file. File name
Strange, we have the same pro cal version and software version my perf Cal bin file is named entirely different. FPP rep replied back but did not back up his findings with a version number. I will try calling again before I upgrade it. Ill update the thread with my findings.I did not have to “reset” anything. I had two updates recently, and on the first one, Windows Defender said it was a virus. So I updated my ProCal desktop app as prompted and when I plugged my ProCal 4 unit in, it won't connect due to some Windows error. Any ideas?

Do you know anyone with a PC that could let you use it just for this? I had a friend with one and just used his. Even though you can buy a cheap PC now I didn't want to spend more than I had to, plus I'mAnd this is the reason I haven't tuned yet.

Those adjustments have always been in the ProCal 4 for the Ford Ranger.I hear there are some cool new tuning options in the update, including being able to adjust for both tire size and gear ratio.
I am interested in getting a tune, but would like to find out what companies offer tunes; their price; their advantage over another brand. Any input would be appreciated.Actually the Pro Cal 4 programmer does quite a few things that are not even advertised by Ford or Ford Performance.
