Ford Performance Tune - Update

You should connect to the ProCal app and see if it will download the latest tune. I believe the KC.bin file is an old tune. AAR.bin is the latest I could download.

I tried updating tonight and it is still the KC.bin file. May have to give Ford Performance a call this week

Yep that was a completely new download of the app as well

When you select “update” does it take you to the FORD ProCal site?

Not to the site, but it does prompt me to login to Ford Performance with a little pop up window

I think when I logged into that is when it down loaded the file.

I updated mine without any problems. I did get prompted to log into Ford Performance and once I did, it downloaded the file to the tuner.
Haven't driven it yet though so no impressions on how it feels to the original FP Tune.

I think you’ll like it. For me the transmission shifting is more refined, after the initial ”learning”.

Yeah mine downloaded something, but the file type didnt change. Im wondering if I have the updated tune or not. It would be nice to tow with no worry

You may have to ask the guys at Ford Performance. I think your file is where I started. Then it went to.AAP and then .AAR.

The file listed in the Procal software definitely changed for me and matched the picture shown in Post #94.
