Ford pass Remote start.

Any XLT could have remote start. On the 302A it was standard, on the 300A and 301A it was option code 50B (well, at least it was in 2021). The order guide is confusing on the Lariat, the 501A, like the 302A, it shows that remote start is included in standard equipment, but the 500A does not show that indicator under the Lariat options list there is no remote start option listed. I'm going to lean to an error on the Order Guide as I can't imagine how it makes any sense for a Lariat to not be equipped with remote start, whether standard or optional.

for the op my app works fine and so does the fob now the annoying thing i have is when the fob blinks red saying it didnt start so then i walk out to my truck and the damn thing is running! that has never made sense to me tbh!

I'll get a glitch every now and then on the app. I use the fob if I can.

Is it on Amazon? Does it require me to send the unit off and have it programmed?

No issues with mine. At one point shortly after installing, I had sporadic dash lights, pulled over, reseated and nothing in the 20K miles since.

Correction, XLT has the option on the FOB. Its not always there unfortunately.

I wish I had it on tge FOB on my 2019. At least I had Ford Pass as it was better than nothing.

Not all Lariats have key fob remote start; our '21 FX4 (500a) doesn't have it. Living in Vancouver BC we rarely need remote start, but on the rare frosty mornings I do appreciate the Fordpass option. 60% of the time it works every time...

I know my ford pass app remote start doesn't always work when I don't use it regularly. As for the fob, is that the 2X button? I never used that before.

Figures, first day I need remote start to work. It does not. Had to manually scrape my windshield. First world problems, or my battery is getting weak.

So I can remotely start with fob and with app but the scheduled start hasn't worked since daylight savings

Yeah, unless they updated something the 300 yard rule doesn't exist. How do I know? I was 50 miles away and it worked just fine.

This is not true. I’ve started my truck from across the country using the app. Anyway for the first time in 6 months it did not work for me this morning. I use it all the time and up until now has been great. No idea what’s going on.
