Actually coming back from CA today, head wind for 25% and tail wind for 75%, got 22mpg before getting off the fwy and getting coffee on the way home. Ended with 21.5mpg. Math will probably work out to 21mpg so not bad. Going home is an increase altitude too. I peaked at 22.8mpg before I hit the long steady climb where current mpg was like 12mpg on the display.

On the way there, headwind the whole way, like 30mph gust, I got 16.8mpg math, display read 17.4 or something. I was roughly 70-75mph most of the time. Very noisy drive with the wind. Otherwise, nice how quiet the truck is on the hwy.

Honestly, knowing the k03 lost me 1-2mpg, I can't complain. The tune and bolt ons are fun and honestly, think they got me my 1-2mpg back from the tire change. Acceleration is where it all gets lost.

So with lighter 33" tires, I would probably be at 23.5mpg and that is pretty awesome.

Tune or not, anytime you had wheels, the MPG goes out the window. Easy Daily driving for me with the Ford tune range 14-17mpg. HWY I was would say 17-19 ish.

Yeah, tires diameter and weight. I forgot the weight difference but the same size 285/70/17 K03 cost me 1-2mpg from the K02. All the red lights around me kill my city mpg. Today's driving around I managed a 16.2mpg in the cluster. So maybe 15.0-16.0 actual.
