Thanks for the info. I will be doing this ASAP.

One question I have is: Do I have to put the Unleashed tune back to stock to do this procedure, or anything else in Forscan?

No sir, this can be done even with the tune installed

Since I am one of those who hasn't had an issue with my brakes, I ordered a cable anyways and when i get it, and get back from my contract work, I will carry it out and see if there is a marked improvement over mine.
As was said above on another post, this likely isn't needed on every vehicle.

I just need to know, will i require an eval licence to carry out this task?
Maybe i will add Bambi mode as well...I haven't browsed much of the other changes I could make so I'm not sure if I'll dig deeper into forscan right away.
Evaluation license is free and easy.

I liked being able to get rid of the chimes on start up and a few other things too, heated seat switches from the home screen was nice too

I am trying to remember but don't think you need the extended license for the brake bleed but the other you do. however there is 2 month eval you can use.

Eval license will work. I thought mine were fine before doing procedure. Man was I wrong. Marked difference and very noticeable.

Forscan

Secure remote start
Ford raptor startup
Trail management add on
Panic mode x2
Seat belt reminder off
Tire size mm
Backup.abd (I don’t remember what this was)
Off-road screen

Just a list I made after going through the thread.

Maybe you’ll find something there you will like.

What does the Ford raptor startup look like? I did the Ford performance one. Really digging it.

THERE IS A FORD PERFORMANCE ONE? God dang. I might actually have to use Forscan… I haven’t because I have to flash to stock on FP tune before applying and I’m lazy :( I have the cable and trail management sitting here…

Regarding your question, it looked good is all I remember. Enough to put it on my list to do.

Anyone who says they don’t have a problem with their brakes are lying to themselves and need to do this procedure.
After putting just under 500 miles on mine since doing this,I still can’t believe how bad the breaks were……..

Just did this on my truck. Man it scared the shit out of me when it started!

Definitely an improvement! I also cleared the transmission tables since I was in there too since I was getting some clunks. Seemed to improve that as well, but will have to go on a longer test drive to confirm.

Is there a way this information could be passed on to Ford so they could issue a service bulletin . . .

Well, I hate to rain on a parade but I didn't notice much improvement, if any. Perhaps mine was done at the factory. I also have a hard time accepting that Ford would ship vehicles to customers skipping a step of the ABS module setup, but stranger things have happened.
