Well it is getting back together. The lights (head and tail) and the windshield, back window and side windows need to be installed. Then I need to finish out the interior; sound insulation, carpet and door panels.

When should I expect you to stop by so I can get a ride?

I hope to have it registered an on the road in June. This year will be for shake down drives, can't even think about a road trip to Colorado until next year. ?

I finished my Speedstar this week when I installed the door panels. It's time to take it to the state police title center to get a VIN and then to the DMV for plates

Got through the State Police inspection and got my VIN. Not without some jerking around by the RMV got it registered and have plates. I have been racking up miles over the past two weeks. The car handles like a Go-Kart, the suspension is a little harsh but liveable and the looks/comments are unbelievable.

Here is a picture from its first car show.

Car looks awesome. It must be a blast to drive and keep it straight under throttle.

It is a blast, the Hemi is a fresh rebuild so I am keeping my foot out of it for a few hundred miles but yes it does not take much to break the rear loose when you have 400 HP and only weigh 2200lbs.

Congratulations Dave - that’s really great - one of many to come, I’m sure.

I can see why you fussed so much over the colour - it’s outstanding!
