Just bought a new Hyundai Santa Cruz to replace my Kona as a commuter vehicle. I got a pretty good deal on a night edition. Only thing that really bugs me is the feckless stereo system....I've had clock radios with better sound. Put it this way, our stock systems in the Ranger are like a Bose compared to the SC. Anyway, I get online and find the Santa Cruz forum, become a member and start searching for stereo mods. Found exactly what I was looking for just like we can in here....So get this folks, these people are installing lifts on these Santa Cruz's and tuning them too....lol. Supposedly the 2.5T in the Santa Cruz is the same engine as some of the high end Genesis models from Hyundai. Anyway, just know we are not the only crazy mod people out there. I don't think they like me already....go figure....

Mark, You might need those side steps after all. Do us a favour and start a “Biggest tires, no lift?” thread.

I have a 2023 XLT SuperCab. I've installed K&N CAI, CVF Intercooler, Borla exhaust. Baddest thing I've done though is having Ford flash my computer with the FORD Performance Tune. Holy shit what a different engine! Great shift timing, earlier turbo kick-in, and balls to boot! For around $1k OTD cost, was worth every penny!

Yeah... You ever been on a subaru forum?

A forester with a 2 inch lift is how it should come from the factory....

Mine was lifted 2 inches and had larger tires... It sat ~3 inches higher than stock. Besides blowing ball joints and cv's it was great and the way I think they should come from subaru.... ?

The gf thought it looked dumb... Shrug. I liked it, and I was paying for it....

Friday yet?

If you really want to get the party started on the Santa Cruz forum. Just ask whats the best motor oil to use?.
more like which quick stop has the best service for the soccer moms. Hyundai drivers don't waste their time between picking kid A and dropping off kid B

My Ole Hyundai Gen v6 Coupe would have something to say about that.... (but even it being sporty still moved kids... so a bit to say... as if went to soccer practice... but like a bat out of hell)

But some asshat high on PCP and drunk at the same time drove thru my yard and bent it in half at 80mph.

I still miss that thing.... it wasn't stock. Engine, trans, brakes, suspension, etc.

I did turn it into a bit of a bitch for daily driving (too much clutch for the torque) but it didn't look ridiculous (nothing crazy.. not even a stock spoiler) and wasn't too loud over stock with the exhaust it ran.

Unless lime rock green was ridiculous for a color but that was stock.
