What are some good auto websites these days?

A long time ago I used to browse Jalopnik pretty regularly but it's apparently turned into hot garbage (see below). Does anyone know of some cool sites with good writers? I assume there are a least a few good ones but I have been out of the loop for a long time.

I have long been a fan of Car and Driver, but I think there is a lot more good-quality content on YouTube now than in traditional auto journalism.
I guess I'm old fashioned, didn't really think of youtube. I liked reading the offbeat articles Jalopnik used to do. Wes Siler and some others, not just new car reviews but stuff on old cars, grassroots track cars, drifting, motorcycle adventures and the like. I guess it makes sense everyone just went to youtube though.

I used to voraciously read C&D, Automobile, R&T, etc.

Recently my wife got free 1 year subscriptions to several magazines and she had 2 unused so I got C&D and Grassroots Motorsports.

Turns out I don't care for reading them that much anymore.

I still have several of each that I haven't even opened yet.

Needless to say I didn't renew when the renewal came up.

It seems like everyone's interest in automotive culture has declined all at once. I don't even see kids ricing out their cars anymore!

If you're gonna look on YouTube check out Donut Media. Their Hi/Lo series are pretty entertaining.

TFL on YouTube is alright too. But some of the presenters are a a bit annoying.

www.autoextremist.com has some pretty interesting reads. He puts out like one column a week and some other goodies if you poke around on the site. Very behind the scenes kinda stuff.

I frequent CarBuzz.com and MotorTrend. There some Porsche sites but they stay pretty specific.

Jalopnik really went south. It used to be such a cool grassroots car guy blog. I follow speedhunters and several of the SH guys on Instagram and I think the Hoonigan guys put out a lot of good video content mostly geared toward motorsport in the US.
