I ordered a set of front and rears from Amazon, which were shipped directly from Eibach, except with free shipping.
They arrived almost two weeks earlier than estimated.

I bit the bullet! Ordered off EBay from a Eibach dealer in FL. Free shipping guaranteed delivery by this Friday. I’ll install myself.

@outdoorphotog Did you get these installed ? Is the ride smoother ? Are they were worth the $$ ? Thanks !!
I installed them, they work great. Much less bumpy ride in the rear. Planning to get the fronts eventually.

Sweet ride, I think I've seen you on S197 forum. I left S197 for the S550 platform. Here's mine.

2017, and yes they do sound awesome.

Yessir, not my favorite road by any stretch but a bucket list road for sure.
Same here. I enjoyed the drive out there (about 2 hours if I remember correctly), and it was surely fun driving The Tail. But, we did catch up to some slower traffic on our initial run (Tahoe towing a large Airstream!), and we didn't really get to stretch our legs until our return run to the cafe for lunch. But, 3/4 of the way back, we came up on a motorcycle accident and the rest of the day was pushed to the Cherohalla Skyway for a more leisurely cruise.

I bought a used set of Eibach rear shocks from member Str8sh0oter. Installed in about 30 minutes. A low profile floor jack comes in really handy for this. I used it to jack the shocks into position in the bottom mount.

It's a big improvement in the back end of the truck. I felt it on the first on ramp. A lot of the bounce is gone.

2 negatives:
1. It's REALLY making me want the fronts.
2. Stiffening up the back end makes it a bit rougher riding.

I’d say if you do get the fronts, expect it to be about the same in terms of subtle roughness. I got the 2.0 Eibach coilovers and left the default ride height. My thoughts? I love it. Rides like a truck, and it handles the road better (as well as getting rid of the bouncing and wallowing)

A quick review: I installed the Eibach rear shocks and front struts using the stock springs and raised the front 2.25”. The truck rides so much better! The bounce/roll is pretty much gone. It rides like a truck. But is extremely comfortable! The bouncy ride really bothered me. Definitely get an alignment when done! My left side was way off! Right not too bad.
If you’re on the fence, do it!

The rears were the best bang for the buck. The fronts did get rid of the wallowing but I always thought that was tolerable. Biggest improvement from the fronts was getting rid of that nose dive when you touch the brakes. I got lazy and left the fronts on when I traded it otherwise Id sell you then too.

Did the change of Struts up front with reuse of the Ford springs get rid of the kidney punch over every minor bump? Just wondering which is the problem, the stock struts or shocks?
