ABSOLUTELY!! I have had mine for a little over a year and I am liking more all the time. THe only way I would get something different is when the USA version of the Ranger Raptor is released. 2.7 L ecoboost Gen 2, with both Port and Direct Injection!
For what it’s worth.
I intend to run the oil with the lowest wear value available, especially due to the turbo. I have owned a several Subaru turbo cars.
The first two changes were with Amsoil Signature 5w30 and the next was with Quaker State Ultimate Durability 5w30 SN “Plus”, which at the...
I just called Westin Customer Service to possibly get an update on the development and possible release of the motorized side steps for the Ranger, but the person told me that they do not have motorized side steps in development and could not refer me to anyone in the company that might know...
I believe that the turbo bearing seals are not designed for, or expecting to be subject to petroleum solvents. The seals are normally only externally exposed to air flow.
I would like to weigh in, agreeing with t4thfavor recommending AGAINST the use of spraying a solvent solution through the intake system!
On a normally aspirated system the downside would probably be quite low, but with a turbo the downside gets exponentially worse. The biggest problem that I...
It might have something to do with the Battery Management System.
I had the connector at the back of the battery unplugged, which disabled the ASS. I just plugged a voltmeter adapter into one of the DC outlets on the dash and while driving around it measured around 14.2V. I then plugged the BMS...

My 2020 with Sport Package came with Hankook AT M 255/65R17 and I swapped to Yokohama Geolandar AT G015 265/65R17. I assumed that my speedometer would run a bit slower with the change, so I used the code for OEM 265/65R17, 726-12-01 xxxx 0938 xxxx. After awhile I realized that my speedometer...
My 2020 build started in February and was delivered to my dealer on March 31, 2020, just before the Covid-19 shutdown. It was waiting in the shipping area as they were stopping production. It came with aluminum spindles.
"is that this kind of wheel? i dont remember what package we have. but we have fx4 17" alloy wheels. this would definitely be worth 238 for me. "
My Sport Package 4x4 came with a 16" plain silver steel wheel.
The FX4 comes with a 17" plain black steel wheel.
Motorcraft by Ford make very good filters.
I personally run one with just a touch more oil capacity than the original one.
Motorcraft FL-400-S (WIX equivalent, I beleive, is: 1516)
After I received my unit, I brought it to work to let our resident 3D Printing expert check it out. He commented that it was quite well designed and that it was epoxy coated post-printing. This epoxy coating is critical for being exposed to the weather, as getting wet and freezing would...
I bought a FX4 17" wheel to replace my Sport Package spare that came with a 16" wheel.
The PN is: KB3Z-1015-B
I believe that it listed for around $238.00, but I used my Ford Pass dollars to order it.
The Ford Performance Raptor wheels are actually 8 1/2" wide with the same +55 offset as the standard wheels. This makes the inside edge of these wheels 1/4" closer to the spindle.
These wheels are close enough to the spindle that they recommend stick-on weights on the inside edge vs the normal...
I have this tonneau and like to very much.
I bought a sheet of 3/4” thick neoprene closed cell foam, and cut one piece 1-1/2” wide to slide in between the rubber flap and the cab to secure the flap as well as filling the gap to keep debris out.
I also cut a piece of the neoprene 1-3/8” wide to...
If you go to SN13's original posting of his install, toward the end of the installation photos you will see how the rubber strip is supposed to overhang the foam filler strip.
I have looked through this procedure and am not clear regarding the fluid level indicator.
Could it be that the indicator portion is inverted and positioned inside the plug portion?
