DIY Black Headliner Project

Putting it all in! Broke some clips so gonna be completely done tomorrow night.

I would not have given a black headliner a second thought if it weren't for this thread. I also noted that the headliner in my loaner Bronco is solid black. Other than the fact that it can get dark inside, it's actually quite nice.

Side question what is the hose on the Rigid shop vac? I had one that looked similar, but was way too stiff to really be useful.

You still loving the blacked out interior? I definitely want to do this in the Ranger this summer. I will go ahead and put some sound deadening stuff in the cab too. I’d love to get rid of the carpet floor and replace it with the vinyl floor. My floors stay muddy or dirty from where I live.

Its absolutely awesome. Especially when I have mud flying through the windows and I don't have to clean the headliner. Sure if you shine a flashlight at it, it looks a little bit spoltchy because its dyed, but nobody does that.

I tried to go back and find it but... what paint and dye did you use? I hate the tan upper on my truck and, while I am not 17, I want to take this on.

Once you do it you cant go back. And im serious he dyed it.
