DIY Black Headliner Project

So did you get the headliner out with out pulling the whole truck apart?

All seat removal is required, however I haven’t done any of this yet. I’ll start 8/10 when I’m home.

Sorry for the off subject but I want to put dyna mat or equivalent on the interior roof panel to reduce the tin can sound when it’s raining. I’m thinking I can lower it enough to slide it in there with out completely removing the head liner..

You should be good. If you watch that video I sent a few messages up it explains how to just drop it, but not remove it completely from the truck. Might be a two person job though. I might do this aswell while I have it out.

Well shit, I’m already doing something major with the headliner, why not do something else too.

I’d like to drop my headliner just to do the sound deadening. I do wish the color was different. Not a huge fan of that tan color. I also wish the drivers side A-Pillar had a grab handle like the passenger side.

I’m going to have a detailer come over and ceramic coat the vinyl so it doesn’t flake.
