Just wanted to update my last post. Diamondback rush shipped me a new cover, it took just over a week to build and arrive. I got it installed and the old cover sent back. It's a bit of a pain to have to reinstall and ship one back, but they did everything they could to make it as easy as possible to repack and ship the old one. The new cover seems to be working fine, no more safety catch issues. Hopefully they have this straightened out going forward. While it's never fun to have a problem with a product, their customer service is top notch!
