Thanks for sharing. Very useful mod. Not sure those of us who are mod-challenged could implement this, but those are exactly the features I'd like to have on the DB. It might be useful to document the steps and parts (actuator, bracket, HD) in order to follow your lead.

They have cab guard/headache racks that prevent load from busting the rear window. It looks like they'd obstruct the rear view when driving. I'm probably just being too picky, but wouldn't pay $1500 for the Ford rack on top of a $2000 cover...., but looking for options.

Thanks for the picture! It looks like, if I bolted the base to the top of the cover at the front of the cover, that there's an inch or may more if it the bracket is angled to bolt into the flat surface and the down slope, but not sure I can find a bracket at the correct angle or be able to bolt...

Much better dealership experience this time after dealing with their customer service department post-sale. Oil & filter change, tire rotation, replaced two tie-down brackets that were missing after the spray-in bedliner was applied, made extra effort to address some of the post-sale issues...

Sweet! I have been waiting to pull the trigger on getting a Diamondback bed cover due to the cost, but really like this cover. Q: Did the ramps not fit in the bed of the truck? Did you get the rails to use as a wheel stop or just rely on the tie down straps/cleats?

I used automotive paint, used the adhesion promoter before, had color matched paint, but had the same issues...with adhesion promoter and base paint. I think the very light coat is the key or it will pool in the curves. It's hard to go slow because it begins to look good when the color starts...
