I got mine mounted on Tuesday. I am very happy with the fit. Eventually I’d like to mount some racks to carry snowboards in the winter and a roof top tent in the summer, but that’s a ways out for me. Gotta get a lift and tires first haha!

Went to ABF freight and picked up my cover. I saw a puncture on the end of the box about the same size as a blade on a forklift, but I couldn’t identify any damage before unboxing it. Turns out the forklift blade got in and destroyed the weatherstripping for both the front and rear panels. If the LineX wasn’t so tough I’d probably have more damage to the metal panels themselves. I guess we’ll see how good Diamondback’s customer service is, because if they make me go through ABF to claim a refund I’m going to be even more pissed!

Mounted mine today. How in the heck did you get the locking rod on the driver’s side front panel to stay clear of that safety locking rod? I had to remove the safety rod. I tried different configurations, but nothing was working.Here’s a couple more pics. Sorry if the quality sucks.

Update:
I’m already in contact with Diamondback’s customer service. They’re going to send me a new perimeter seal. And I brought up the issue with the safety catch interfering with the driver’s side cab panel locking rod. They have not offered any kind of reimbursement yet. So it looks like I’ll just be putting it a bunch of free labor to replace the seal on my $2049 tonneau cover. The good news is that if this happens to you as well, I may have a temporary fix. The front bulkhead seal they give you in the kit is longer than necessary. I was able to temporarily repair the majorly torn seal on my rear panel by carefully cutting out the damaged section and replacing it with the left-over seal. I have included some pics.

Here are pics of the clearance issues with the safety catch. I had to remove it to allow the panel to properly open/close without binding up. I would like to have it installed. If my cover is ever left closed and unlocked, as I hit a bump, the gas struts will kick the front panel up and into the wind down a highway. Could be bad news.

Uh oh, their engineers are now involved. Might be getting a completely new cover due to the safety catch issue.
I have to say, I’m pretty impressed with the responsiveness of Diamondback’s customer experience reps. This may end up being a huge pain but I’m still happy I chose a great company. The initial shipping issue wasn’t their fault, shipping options are limited and unfortunately ABF freight is the worst (I’ve had nothing but terrible experiences with them). The safety catch issue was a goof but the fact that they want to make it right is the smart and right move. Stay tuned.
