Well, my truck wasn't built in this date range, but the HVAC smells like melted electronics. Almost makes me sick to drive it. Dealer says it's normal.

That sucks,hopefully you get it soon. It's hard enough waiting for the build date only to now have to wait for this. I remember ordering one of my F 150's and there was a back order on the 60/40 front seats. IIRC it took a couple extra weeks and it drove me crazy having to wait for these. Heck I would've taken as is and use a lawn chair...lol

sux b/c we are now in daily heating season [northern IL] If it catches fire Im lett'n it burn. I dont mess with electrical fires in a vehicle.

Ugh. My brand new Ranger is still at the dealer. They cannot deliver it to me until the recall repair is done, because I was lucky enough to get one of the bad motors.

They are now saying up to a week to get the replacement. At least they put me in a Lariat as a loaner until my truck can be delivered to me.

So not pleased at the moment. Can't blame the dealer, though. This is Ford's issue.

Mine went in today. Confirmed in the defective date range. Now we wait.
