I seem to be having this problem in my dual climate Ranger. Back in April the drivers side a/c was blowing warm air while the passenger was nice and cool even though I had both set to cool. It lasted only three days and had seemingly fixed itself. Fast forward to last Saturday and it happened...
The faries open the door. The drums roll. The trumpets shout. The tubas blare. Joe enters in on his high horse and proclaims "register thine steed Ranger!".......sounds like a fairytale to me
Since I have the black appearance package I sure would like it if these mirror covers were available in gloss black. Also gloss black pieces to cover the matte black strips on the doors at the b-pillar and also to cover/replace the rear door trim panel applique.
Ranger got a little bling bling today. Installed the front grille letters that I got from aliexpress a few days ago. Turns out the double sided tape they came was pretty crappy so I decided to glue them on permanently with some epoxy.
It does indeed look different for the version that works with ACC. Found this photo on a different site that shows the cutout.

If I had the ACC I would have no regrets moving it. That area is the perfect spot for a light bar, fits like a glove. I personally wouldn't just delete it. As you said it is some how connected to your pre-collision. Maybe it ends up being a bonus sensor for those of you with the ACC that we...
So I double checked and I definitely dont have the sensor down there blocking my future light bar.
But I do also have the pre-collision assist w/ AEB. This must be different sensors?
