Sorry, had a hot date and had to bail on this one.

My parents did Tincup in a stock 4x4 4runner SR5 a year or two ago so any stock 4x4 Ranger should be just fine, and easy peazy in an FX4. I still need to make it up there myself.

@CO2Ranger is that Mirror Lake in the picture? I really want to do Tincup so I can paddle that pond while I'm at it!!

Yep. Mirror Lake indeed. Pretty easy getting to the lake from the Tincup side. Not too many challenging parts, just a ton of rocks - everywhere.

So I really wish I could have joined for the Tin Cup run. I'll have to do it another time either with or without some people. Thankfully I ended up having a little bit of time and a little bit less stuff to deal with today so real quick I went on Marshall pass today. If anything it's just a cool Scenic Pathway to or even a stock Ranger won't even sweat it. I took the easy route today and I understand there is a fun way through Poncha Creek. Who knows when I'll do that route and maybe some people can join just because why not.

Had a fun weekend out on the trail. Got a chance to say hi to @CO2Ranger as he was finishing the trail. I didn’t go over the pass since there were way to many side by sides ripping up and down. So we just had a nice time camping off the trail a ways.

Hope we can get a group ride/camp going someday.

I ran metberry and longwater gulch today. If you haven't ran longwater before it had a super sketchy rock you go down but they're both real cool. Hackett gulch is next on my list. I didn't want to run it alone.

Well I ended up going solo. Would love to do another trail meetup if we can all agree on a day. Was able to wave to Andy on the other side. This is Tincup to St. Elmo via Tincup Pass:

This was the only really tricky part. Had to spot myself by getting out and inspecting every 12in or so. Even a level and some 32/33s would have made this much easier

Hey all...

Sorry I wasn't able to make a meetup this past weekend.
I already had plans with a group to camp and make a few runs.

But it sounds like some of us were in the same area. Hancock Pass, Tin Cup Pass, and Mt Princeton.

These are the hardest trails I've done so far with the Ranger and lift/level and tires.
Other than a few dings on my wheels, I didn't hit once! Very impressed with the little truck!

Check out the videos for some wheels up action.

Just made my reservations. My Ranger and I will definitely be there from August 1 to about the 10th.

Wow! Cool looking truck! What brand and model do you use for the top rack of your crew cab?
