FWIW Mt Antero is probably a nogo until next summer. I was riding my dirtbike at FourMile yesterday and im pretty sure one of those snowcaps is Antero.

Conditions at FourMile are great on both sides of 285 though. There's plenty of trails that a bone stock 2wd ranger could do. Just dont go down Chinaman!

If anything its good to know that the snow is light in certain spots!! I'm just hoping some of the trails in that mountain range are still open(I got plans for next weekend)

I’m actually headed out to the lower portions of Antero today. I would agree that it’s probably not a good idea to do a trail meet up on any of the the higher elevation trails till next year. Would still like to do something as a group this year though.

As long as the snow isn't an issue I was thinking of doing a combination of Marshall Pass, Waunita Pass and Cumberland Pass. That is as long as cottonwood pass is still open.

Well Antero is a big no now. We tried it and I started to slide backwards on a nice sheet of ice in the trail. Not worth the trouble to get past it.

Instead we took tin cup pass and it was a breeze. Slushy and snowy but really mild trail.

Looks like a good time. We'll have to try to get something going in the spring. Starting to look pretty barren out there...
