Pre collision red screen flashes....then warning pops up ( Pre-Collision Assist not available )

Then when I looked thru menu....Driver assisted .....the " pre collision " option is no longer in menu.

Park the car....the "PRE COLLISION" option is barely visible.
Turn the truck off...and restart.....the "PRE COLLISION" option is back!

My local Service department doesn't believe me....even with photos.....

I would take it to the dealer. That is a problem. A little more information would be helpful.

It's at the dealer....and they can't find anything. I have pics of the screen ....so they are trying to figure it out.
Not cool with a safety feature malfunctioning.

The dealer is still trying to figure it out. Been at the shop a lot. for collision alerts and blindspot alerts....weird.

FIRST PIC IS THE NOTICE ON THE DASH AFTER THE RED LIGHT ALERT.

SECOND PIC IS THE MENU WITH NO COLLISION OPTION IN IT.

THIRD PIC IS THE OPTION BACK BUT BARELY SEEN

FOURTH PIC IS THE OPTION BACK AFTER THE CAR TURNED OFF AND RESTARTED

Hmmmm........ Never seen it like that before. My question to you is has the windshield ever been replaced? If so the front camera needs to be recalibrated. It is a pain but that is what it is. For me I have had that over the winter here in Colorado but that is because of the snow storms so i know it is normal.

By chance when this happens will it be i. The morning when some light moisture is in the air? I have had that a few times last month when heading to work and figured that it could have been a light frost or something.

Truck in garage.
Also the dealer was accusing me that I cut into the OBD harness to power something....come to find out it was them. So they created the issue. It.

Theres all kinds of collision allert issues with my truck. They cant get it to redo it so they say there isnt anything wrong with it....and they didnt have time for me to come in when the alert warning window stayed on ...they were busy on Friday.

What did they install in the OBD harness?

And at this stage, i would find another dealer to work on your truck.
They dont know what was installed...only foung a harnes that was spliced in MICKEY MOUSE ...and left all tucked into the underdash all dumb.

Im actually going to lemon law it i think. they even gave me the paperwork to do it...weird.

Could this be a dealer trade that some other dealer did the lousy cobble job?

Hi mate, my 2019 Wildtrak X is cursed too so I feel your pain. This happened to me last week, while driving thing went into pre collision warning then as you say had pre collision assist not available. I however managed to get to the dealer and get them to take photos of the car with this showing.. Email sent to Ford Tech and please sit down for this next but.. No fukin response. I now have parking sensors activating while driving and pre collision assist activating then turning off.. And again please bear in mind I'm in Western Australia so not much frost, or morning moisture here.. Yesterday I Road cameras told me they went into power save mode as car battery was criticaly low, off to deer's again today. Should of stayed with my HiLux

Just FYI low or weak batteries can cause all kinds of issues especially with as many modules as these trucks can have and the modules being hyper sensitive to certain voltages. Also if you have an AGM battery they are also notorious for crapping out early. Ive seen it enough at my dealership. Replace battery and see if that doesnt help
