I bought some TYC 800151 from Rock Auto and they DO NOT FIT , not even close. I did some digging and found EcoGard XC35518C are activated carbon filter and are a direct fit. They are on Ebay for around $10-$15. They are slightly thicker than stock, but fit like a glove. They are for a 01-06 Lexus GS430 & LS430, but EcoGard list them as a direct replacement for the 2019-2020 Ranger and they cross them over to: WIX 24893, Fram CF10562, Champ CAF7782. For comparison Wix WP10410 which is non carbon and is listed for the Ranger, dimensions are 9.17 X 8.46 X 1.18 and the Wix 24893 is 9.25 X 8.5 X 1.13 and the EcoGard XC35518C is 9.21 x 8.46 x 1.14 in.

I changed my cabin filter last night. 20k miles and 15 months on the truck. I do very little off road or gravel roads. Yuck!

I put the Purolator from post #1 in.

I thought the Purolator restricted the flow too much. That thing is like a blanket.

I just installed the Purolator boss and the reduction in airflow was way too drastic for me to use . I am switching back to my dirty filter until the replacement from Amazon arrives.

My 2020 has a tether...
I just replaced my cabin filter today... Truck has 5K miles.

I was surprised how much was on the filter for as little as I have driven it.... Even more surprised to find leaves and debris in it.

Anyone know where the intake for the vent system is? Need to track it down and figure out how to keep the big stuff out.

Here is the filter I used:

All these filthy cabin filters plus I'm noticing funk in the cabin... so:

I didn't see any mention of activated carbon on the packaging (unless that's what the 'C' means?) but there are black flecks in the filter material.

Swapped mine out, here's the old one... not super dirty except I think that's rodent droppings in there which I've found on the top of the engine as well. So I ordered automotive mint spray.

Here’s the Motorcraft one. FP-88 KB3Z-19N619-A

Rock Auto has them same brand Oil filters and Wix ones. Short money!

Has anybody run into a problem with Rock Auto won’t ship to your address because of the city and sales tax? It won’t let me order.
