Update: PurolatorBOSS PBC35519 Perfect fit.


I have been on the quest to find a replacement cabin air filter other than the factory one, specifically a carbon laden one to catch some odors before getting into the cab.

So far I have found the OEM filter number which is FP88 (19N619). However, when trying to cross reference the number on frams site I get about 30 related filters with that number segment. As eager as I am... I cant buy them all to see which one fits. Some say they fit the mustang others the edge.. ect. I know the size of our filter is going to be exactly the same as one of these but which one is the hard part to narrow down.

Anyone have any insight on the subject?

When I'm trying to find filters for some of my work equipment I just take it to the auto parts store and they can then unbox some and find the one that's right.

I prefer WIX filters when not using the manufacturer's. WIX cabin filter for the new Ranger is WP10410.

I wouldn’t rely on amazon ever telling me what fits my truck. Just a top tip.
I am 100% certain it fits as it’s been in my truck for months and I’ve already replaced it with another one.

Sid, reach under the right side of the glove box, nearest the kick panel. The damper is white with a string. There is enough slack to undo the loop at the end from the stud on the glovebox
