About what mileage is this starting? And is it intermittent and then steady? I have felt similar bit only have 25k miles and it’s intermittent.

My truck started it at 17K. Very intermittent at first. By 18K it was more noticeable and I changed it out. I took several days afterwards to clear completely. It been running smooth the last 2K miles. I've got three more on three shelf - just in case. A nice benefit is the next time around it will take 5 minutes to swap out!About what mileage is this starting? And is it intermittent and then steady? How timely. This is exactly what has been happening to me! So where do I get this sensor? And 2 hoses need to be replaced as well to remedy this? And lastly, anyone can do this?Mine was doing the same as everyone else's. First I thought it was misfiring or kind of surging, then I thought it was the transmission because it really started bucking once it got past 7th gear and then when I slowed down. Then it would always do a surging when in reverse backing up my driveway (about a 20degree incline). But then I had the DPFE sensor, and the 2 hoses Replaced, and all the problems are gone. Runs perfectly.
are there instructions/images of where this sensor is located and how to dismount and install a new one?Well, I was a day or two late. Had to wait for it to cool down before replacing the sensor. Completed the task this morning. I tell you, all you tall gentlemen with long arms should thank God! The job was not technically hard, but my step kept slipping back as I leveraged my legs to reach back to the sensor hose clamps with my needle nose pliers. Getting them off was the only hard part, and only due to space and location.
Next time around will be much simpler as I only need to remove the hoses at the sensor.
The truck drives and shifts smoother in the lower gears. The slight bucking is gone, and the light transmission hold when coming to a stop in 1st is gone as well.
I do like how Ford placed a green dot on the hose to insure the installer clocks the hoses correctly.

Thanks....I order just the sensor, but did notice the instructions show the removal and replacement of the full OEM sensor with hoses. For the clamps that hold the hoses on the sensor (closest to sensor) they look like different clamps than the others. Are they any different to get off with pliers? I'll be be keeping the original hoses as recommended so only would need to un-latch these connectors as show here.Instructions are here
Order just the sensor and pull the sensor and two hose off. Place the hoses on the new sensor and reinstall. If you use hose clamps at the the sensor the next time around the job will take ~10 minutes as everything is easy to reach.
TIP: When placing the hoses on the new sensor, insure the dot on the hose faces towards the front of the sensor. This insures the hose are aligned properly. Look closely and you can just see the dot in the picture below.

Yes, and I did just that. The hose ends at the sensor have banded crimped hose clamps that will need to be removed. The ends that connect to the steel tubing can be removed with needle nose pliers. Yes, and I did just that. The hose ends at the sensor have banded crimped hose clamps that will need to be removed. The ends that connect to the steel tubing can be removed with needle nose pliers. Simply squeeze and pull the hose off the tubing.
Once you have the sensor and the two hoses off as a unit, you can install the hoses from the old sensor and use new 3/4" hose clamps in this style. Be sure to orient them so they can easily be removed next time around, which will make the job will be much simpler.
To get the old crimped clamps off easily, insert a small flat blade screw driver into the raised crimped part of the clamp and lift. It will deform / loosen the clamp allowing you to remove it.

IMO, it's an intermittent thing. Over 2 years, I believe it's sorta comes and gone. I plan on replacing the sensor that's highlighted here, but in the meantime, my Ford Performance tune arrived after a long CARB wait. Drove it home this morning and it runs nice and smooth now. Shifting is so much better!It’s been just over 2 months and the bucking is back. I don’t know what the permanent fix is but this isn’t it. Hopefully Ford issues a TSB for it
