You find a way to do that and I'll repay you with a grumper.

Welded on.
Now that's being truly evil

Edit: Oh no.

I just had a frightening thought.

They will probably produce nightmare fuel like this for the Bronco too. :crying:

I know it’s not the exact same, but I see Zach from Granger Ford is trying to help out Bronco Sport forum members as well. Good on him/them.

(of course it helps them as well for more big boy allocations but if you’re in the market, of which I could be if I was to trade in the Escape, but no rush there, then you still can’t really go wrong).

I’ve owned fords for the past 20 plus years. My Ranger will be the last ford I buy and probably the last new American car/truck I buy. It’s not because of quality issues but simply the shady business models of American car manufacturers catering to mega dealers and screwing small family dealerships and customers.

Jim @wanted33 Not sure if you've seen this yet posted on B6G. According to Zach these are the reservations they have at Granger and dates and times. According to this it looks like we're definitely going to be a 2024. Yours being 2nd-3rd qtr and mine (Oct 14th 2020 roughly #550) being 3rd-4th qtr. Or we could pay full msrp + an additional $10K-$20K markup and have them in 2022 from dealer stock.

https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/where-do-i-stand-in-line-granger-ford-customers.25938/

This question has been repeated a lot, so I figured it was time to show as simply as possible where our orders stand in increments, so you can have idea where you stand based upon your timestamp.

Just to recap. We were given an allocation of 11 the first month of 2022 production. So if you estimate 10/month we'd receive 120 Broncos in 2022. If you estimate 20/month, that gets us to 240 for 2022. All times are eastern.

Thanks brother, I saw that. I'm in there between 450 & 500. I was doing my best to not buy "things" for my Jeep, but I said, and the wife agreed, to hell it. I've been looking at better tires for mine, and stopped because we were thinking the middle of next year for the Bronco. I was on the verge of ordering wheels/tires from Discount tire until I ran upon a set of 285/70R17 Rubi wheels and tires w/600 miles for $1300 bucks yesterday. I pick those up Friday. Screw Ford, like you I'll enjoy the Jeep, and decide what to do if the Bronco ever shows up. Just a word of caution if you get that Jeep. J=Just, E=Empty, E=Every, P=Pocket. The aftermarket for Jeep stuff is never ending. :)

Alex, Ford has been bombared with anger customers since the allocation formula dropped, myself included. There has also been several magazines that picked up this fiasco. I was hoping Ford would at least say "let them eat cake" so at least I would know they heard us. But it's been crickets up until now. It's amazing, with the Jeep out there, that Ford just doesn't seem to care about the ones that reserved at the small dealers around the country. I was once one of Fords biggest fanboys until this. Man, I feel the fool now. If I ever get my Bronco it will be the last Ford I ever buy, and I've bought many since 1986.

I wouldn't do it either just to save $2,200 especially if you were going to ship it. That would eat up a good portion of the savings. If we hadn't already planned on taking this time off I'd just stay local. The Jeep dealers here are msrp unlike most of the Ford dealers who have large ADM's added.

If I go with Granger we'll take the trip we planned on with the Bronco and come home through SD,MT,WY, and CO. If I go with Gupton my gf has a good friend who moved out there and has been wanting us to come out and visit and see the area.

What did you end up for a final order? I've been going back n forth with several different ones and this is the latest. lol
So, my take away is that you're heading to Tennessee.

Thanks Charley it does help! I was just reading through the packages a little more and realized the remote start comes in the cold weather package. I had it separate for $500 but for only $200 more you get the heated seats and steering wheel which is a no brainer.

Now I'm off to redo my build, Thanks for costing me more money. ?
And don't forget the keyless entry. Trust me, you'll be gald you didn't skip that one. :)

JEEP apparently at one time meant Just Enough Essential Parts, owing to the initial simplicity of the vehicle.

Then of course the Just Empty Every Pocket due to the vast, maybe even unparalleled aftermarket.

Then Fiat took over and it became Just Expect Electrical Problems ?

Going by those numbers we're definitely looking at a 2024 unless another 200-300 cancel their orders. Glad to see your moving on and modding out your Jeep. Who knows with any more bad press this could just be a blessing in disguise .

J=Just, E=Empty, E=Every, P=Pocket you're not kidding! I'm glad I've been putting money aside for Bronco mods because I've already found enough Jeep mods to spend it on and then some. :curse:

Quiet possible. lol If they're doing 6% off invoice it's worth the extra trip and we can visit Annies friend out there. I will talk with Zach and see if there's anything else he can do as I'd like to stay with them if possible.

And don't forget the keyless entry. Trust me, you'll be gald you didn't skip that one. :)
That's definitely on the list. I love that feature and after having them on my Ranger I got so use to never taking the fob out of my pocket.

I also wished they cared but in the end a Bronco sale is a sale to Ford. Doesn’t matter if someone waited over two years to get one. The reservation holder may move along but someone off the street will be in the dealer to purchase the Bronco. It’s about # of sales, the executives in power today will be long gone enjoying their golden parachute long before any loyalty numbers decline for the company to a point that they try to improve.

You are spot on however it would be nice if integrity were a core value these days. It seems nothing matters anymore except the almighty dollar....

That's Ford's plan; to be able to transfer abandoned order slots to dealer allotment so the mega dealers have inventory to sell.
