Has anyone found an automatic light for the bed with a cover? Would be nice to have a good LED that lights the bed when the cover or gate is opened.

I am going to add the Ford Touchlink Bed Lighting to my Ranger when I pick it up. Don't care if I have to wait a little bit for it to come in. Will have it as on the Sales Order with the dealer and have them install it. It is supposed to work with the keyfob and regular lighting.

I'm also doing the same thing, have had the dealer order it to be installed upon delivery with a local vendor doing the Spray In Bed Liner and then the dealer installing Soft Tonneau cover too.

Do you know if the truck is "prewired" for the factory lights? It's been raining everyday since I picked up my truck and I haven't been able to check for wiring..

Was crawling around and discovered an unused plug on the bottom of the frame right in front of the taillight area.. maybe this is it?

Should test it for power and see when and what it has available.

That's actually for the 12v power outlet option in the bed.

Thats funny, I was under there today as well, but i was looking for the bed power plug. I was gonna test it but laying in the snow got old quick. Might think about running my own bed power from it.

So the Ford add on by Lumen is priced at $249 for just 2 lights....or is it 4? I can't find much info on the kit.

It's 2 sets of 2 LED's. so a total of 4 LED's. which will illuminate when the Key FOB is activated (unlock) then..once all doors are closed, a 10 second clock is started to shut off the bed LED's.

If my truck was in, I could answer that question. My selling dealer ordered the Touchlink kit and my rubber bed mat, I haven't picked them up as I was waiting on the truck and will get them when I go to the dealer to get the truck. This wait is killing me! LOL!
