AVS Bug Deflector (photo)

So if I want a deflector that doesn't use any type of tape on the paint, I need either the AVS Bugflector 2 or the OEM Ford... correct?

I'd love to do the 3M clear protection, but the cost is certainly prohibitive.. especially since I still want to get a hard Tonneau cover to install.

AVS for sure does not, can't say for Ford OEM

Never thought I'd buy one of these but I've been finding myself noticing them and warmed up to the look.

Took about 15 minutes to install. I test-fit it with the hood up, and ended up leaving it resting on the hood while I popped the 8 clips with the proper tool. Leaving it resting there made it easy to locate the 8 clips to remove without having to mark them. Then I slid the tabs under the rubber strip in the locations where I'd removed clips, and secured it with the new clips. Easy peasy despite the dark and rain.

AVS logo came off very easily, too. Almost as if it would have fallen off on its own anyway.
