You should read the owners manual to be sure but I don't believe so just use the touch sensor or fordpass if its an issue

No. Auto lock only works as you drive off and achieve 15mph the doors will lock.
From outside the truck you can lock the doors from the key fob, touching the outside of the Intelligent Access door handle (if equipped) or from Ford Pass. In any case, you have to physically do something, there is no way to have it lock on its own. I just simply hit the lock button on the door as I exit.

If you're tech savvy, you can probably get an ITTT app to interact with Ford Pass and do it

so, regarding doors locking....this was me Friday....looking into the 2017 Focus window....after hitting the lock on the door and slamming it shut.....

oops. better call for a lockout service.....dont have Ford pass unlocking capabilities on this one. and my spare key is in the condo...that other set of keys in the cup holder...are the condo keys. ?‍

Sooo... the brown wallet contains your phone and cards?

I did that once with the engine running, wife had to drive across town with the spare set of keys while I waited in 95º heat, at least the inside of the truck was cool when she got there. (not the Ranger)

My mom's 2007 Camry has autolock.
I don't see how it's lazy but more of a safety/security feature.
Sometimes you forget to lock your doors or think you hit the lock button on the fob but didn't

Yes society has become lazy as technology has been developed to make it easier to do important things. But in this case many of us own other cars that auto-lock when we walk away which creates habits of not thinking about our vehicle locking. Time for Ford to step it up.

Actually my Ranger and Everest here will autolock after short period of time. I found it annoying when I am cleaning getting things out etc. I turned it off.
