There's an old JetPort out there used by the Southern Cross Astronomical Society and we went out there with a friend to do star gazing. And since there are about a billion mosquitos for every human out there I lathered up with mosquito repellent.Try driving it at night. My parents had a house on Marco Island and we would always go over to Ft Lauderdale and you'd have to take Alligator Alley which is US 41. During the day you could see the Gators on the sides and in the canal. Coming back at night there's no lights and you pray you car doesn't break down there. It's about 80 miles from coast to coast.

Well, you go in with headlights off because there are others out there (probably 20-30 that night) and we set up some lounge chairs and I grabbed some Amway mosquito cream stuff that's like 95% DEET. It was so dark that I couldn't even see the tube of it in front of my face and squirted about 5 times more than I needed into my palm. Well I figured I'd just smear it all over starting with my forehead.
LOL, in about 5 minutes I was more buzzed (as in inebriated) than I've been since a teenager!
It wasn't a bad feeling but holy smokes, I still remember it to this day!
