I’m thinking about installing a roll bar onto my 2020 Ranger X. Does anyone have any pics they can share?

and a lot of people who don't do a cap (including some who use a tonneau) use a bed rack to transport long items up high. boats, lumber, fishing poles (I live in fly fishing country and see a ton of fly rod cases on roof racks that are long enough to extend over the cab), rooftop tents, cargo boxes, cargo baskets, platforms, the list goes on.

This kind of sports bar/chase rack/whatever you want to call it is a less functional sort of thing. the front towers/crossbar of my Yakima Overhaul HD kinda looks like a sports bar a little bit, though.

Not much of a thing anymore for reasons others have said. Also the reason they arent called Roll Bars anymore is due to the fact they will not assist ina roll over what so ever.

Unless it's solidly attached to the frame, it's not a roll bar...it's a show bar...

My truck came factory with a rollbar on my "FX4" mall crawler appearance package. As some would say here.

Those are not roll bars, your bed sides will crumple like paper. As others have indicated a real roll bar doesn't even use bed sides, all points of contact go into the bed to attach to the frame.

Yes I am aware. That is why I stated "appearance package". ?? My intent is too keep the sunny side up. ??

Oh they are making a comeback!
I'd love to throw one on, but I have no need for it.

Yeah - still a thing, but is it making a comeback? I don't know. The ZR2 Colorado and Trail Boss 1500 tried to bring them back in some packages. I just think they are falling out of favor with many more useful options. Contractor will use headache racks or other chase bars for carrying gear or preventing lumber and ladders from breaking the glass or denting the cab. For mounting off-road lights, there are some many light pod and light bar options out there with various mounting brackets and locations (i.e., ditch lights) that the need for a roll bar with giant KC lights is just unnecessary. It still doesn't mean I don't like the look - particularly on older vehicles.
