Hello,
My 2019 Ranger is struggling with the bucking issue. I replaced the DPFE sensor and I was not so fortunate. Seems I have to replace/rebuild the transmission. I am just out of power train warranty and have been told by Ford they will cover a percentage of the cost. Getting a Ford diagnositics on Monday so want to decide this weekend to fully go through with this or not.
My concern now is if it is worth it to get this fixed or should I just walk away from this truck. Has anyone had any issues with their new transmission? The price I'm going to possibly pay on the higher end could get me into a Maverick or might even lease and wait out another option. Looking forward to hearing your guys feedback.
Outside of this issue I've enjoyed the truck and really only have three cons. I don't have a physical button for dual climate, mic gain is terrible with carplay basically unusable (have to disconnect and use bluetooth for calls), and my adaptive cruise control doesn't have full stop & go capability.
