Factory gasket is a lifetime gasket I believe. At least ford used to be.
Lol

'lifetime'

Fixed that for you.

To be fair, it is a pretty nice gasket, but they all eventually leak.

I'm counting on lifetime since I didn't order a new one...
You should be fine. They come off pretty easily. It will last at least until it is time to change the filter again.

I didn't see any machined area on that Rockauto image to use it (the factory gasket). Curious what the replacement part actually looks like.

The OEM Gasket? It is just made to go between two flat surfaces.

So the image of the PPE has a factory gasket sitting on it? That would be a relief. I had my fluid and filter changed and the dealer charged me for a filter kit that listed a gasket. They also insisted the plastic pan was not a single use item and after posts on this forum and some replacement part companies sales pitch I couldn't tell.

Considering the aluminum one is less than $40 more than the Dorman plastic replacement (with a drain) it looks like a super attractive alternative.

OP, when you get yours can you post the instructions? I'd be curious if they get the torque settings right.

The image posted previously was not the PPE pan, it was for the Mishimoto, which does not use the factory gasket. The PPE pan uses the factory gasket.

Google had bad things to say about this brand. I am still optimistic
Seems like a difficult thing to screw up. You make a mold of an OEM pan, fill it with cast aluminum, polish a bit and send it off right? ? We'll see how it looks and proceed from there

Anybody ever use this aluminum option from rockauto? I'm thinking of trying it out.

I have interest in this pan also, so I will follow along to see how it turns out.
I’m about to order the MBR trans dipstick mod, for a future planned trans fluid drain/fill.
my 2019 has 65,000 miles I don’t know if any trans maint has been done at this point. I have the carfax report shows engine oil and filter changes on time.
ive only had this truck for a few weeks now, still learning all about it.

My 2nd or 3rd concern would be with the internal baffling.

I'm more concerned over Toofiftitree DOLLA saving lol! I don't do Tail of the Dragon runs with my truck so probably not a concern for me...I have in my basket for next month purchase...

Anybody have a pic of the Ford OEM pan? To compare baffling.
Here ya go. It's been sitting out in the garage (literally) collecting (A LOT) of dust.
