I purchased my Ranger (Buckbeak) brand new on 2/20/25, which was a rainy Thursday evening after work. They put in a spray-on bed liner Friday, and I actually picked him up from the local Ford dealership, on a Saturday 02/22/20 -he had 101 miles. The clock clicked to 47K on Friday, 2/21, so my PT Warranty has come to an end - time expired before the mileage LOL. Fortunately, I got the Ford ESP, so I have a few more years under the blanket, with only a $100 ded.

The camp-out wasn't planned to coincide with the Rangerversary - the stars aligned for a perfect winter camp-out in NW Florida (which is no mean feat if you know the weather here) and just happened to work out that way. I suppose it was definitely meant-to-be.

My childhood buddy and I, went camping last night in the Blackwater Forest, specifically Hurricane Lake in the primitive camp area. Not as spectacular as some of the breathtaking places you guys have chronicled, but it's our own little piece of heaven around here. We definitely prefer the dead of winter campouts, of which we've done many here, in Georgia, and Alabama for many years. The colder the better. Summer camping around here is pure misery, personal taste of course.

The weather was perfect - high around 61(F), low was 30-32(F), a cloudless, very starry night, little or no wind. We are both avid pyromaniacs and a large fire is always on order.

My buddy has the 2023 F-150 Limited Hybrid, which is awesome and an excellent source of electricity, which we used to good advantage.

The very last pic is the dealership pic of the Ranger 5 years ago today.

It was a good way to celebrate 5 years, albeit unwittingly.

Happy Rangerversary and thanks for sharing some snapshots of your trip. It's really cool that you and your friend are still meeting up at "the old spot" all these years later. I hope I still have great friends like that when I am retired. Cheers!
