Very true.

It makes you wonder how it ever got past engineering.

They obviously caught it too late.
The way I hear it, the engineering department was full of 7' tall guys. By the time the truck was passed for production, it was too late to make changes. But Ford knew they had an issue. I'm waiting for the Class Action to start. ?

Iā€™m pretty sure I posted this before. My buddies Ranger with a 429 in it. Pucker factor 10 instantly and then it goes up to 20 when you have to stop with drum brakes! Insane power in that thing. Even with the tires heā€™s got on it breaks free really easily coming out of the hole if you stomp on it. Will do a burn 1 thru 3 gears too.

you should introduce him to disk brakes! Sweet truck.
I believe thatā€™s the next project on that truck. Taking a front end from a donor LTD that has disk breaks. The back is a easy aftermarket setup. Should ride a little better with the swap out so theirs room for everything

I believe thatā€™s the next project on that truck. Taking a front end from a donor LTD that has disk breaks. The back is a easy aftermarket setup. Should ride a little better with the swap out so theirs room for everything
That will be a pretty sweet setup.

Damn that sounds good!
It had bad gas in it that day. Been sitting all winter in storage and got kicked over for the first time. Headers and glass packs and thatā€™s it. Running pretty rough there though.
