He was worried about rubbing due to width. The K02 is quite a bit more narrow so there’s less chance of rub.

manufacturer specs work better than size calculators.

Also, milestar even calls this tire a "34x12"

You arNot all tires are made the same.
actual tire sizes vary so much by manufacturers, y'all getting technical over exact fractions set by generic calculators are hilarious.

Glad you get a tickle so easily.

Ohh there is rubbing. Take that bad boy off-road and compress that front end. You will find it, ask me how I know. It's not over the top but it's there. I run a 295/70/17 with a -12 offset. Nice looking truck you got there. Did you get the rear locker on the stx?

Yes on locker and tow package. Yes it does go off roading . It really comes down to the alignment. The shop that aligned it first it did rub. Took it to my shop i use they got it right. They dont believe in spec they believe in perfection. They also work on my big rig.

Do you think with a 3” level 305/70/17 (33.9x12.2r17) would work? I know crash bars would have to go but do you think I would have enough clearance on and offroad?

@Andy What did you use to get your 1" lift in the rear?

Edit: I see that the BDS shackles gave you the 1" in the rear.

I have a 2021 ford ranger fx4 XLT 2.5" leveling and want to use stock 17x8 rims no spacers no cutting or remove of crash bars and I know 255/80/17 at3w fw would fit but want the ko2 34x10.50r17 do I need offset crash and offset wheels to put the ko2 I want it to look stock with stock rims. I haven't put the level kit yet. Is it possible with just bds crash bars to fit?

I'm not an expert on this, but the 34x10.5 Ko2 are only 33.5 measured so I'm pretty sure you will be solid. They'll only be 1/4" bigger in all directions than the 255/80.

I stumbled upon this thread and hoping maybe someone might take the time to enlighten me on weather this will be a go and what offset would be best for the Method Wheels I want to go with. I’m trying to find a tire that fits closer to a 34”. Most seem to be a realistic 33.3”-33.8” height. Anyone willing to shed some light on potential rubbing or if I need to alter the wheel specs? I of course will be doing the extrusion bar chop. First Ranger to lift, unfortunately all my knowledge is on Tacomas and what works for them.

I ordered the Icon Stage 8 lift for my ‘22 Ranger,RCI full body skid plates, rock sliders, etc.. Just needing to clarify what my realistic options will be for the wheel/tire combo.
Thanks!

Given the lift you mentioned, the wheel size and offset is perfect. The 285/75R17 in the Toyo will be pretty close to 34". Toyo's website has it coming in at 33.9 inches on an 8" wide wheel, so you're close!
Product is available for ordering. I'd love to help. Sending a DM your way.

I have those exact tires on OE wheels and 1" spacers. This puts my offset at ~+30. I am running the OME HD struts up front and 1" (total lift) spacers on top of those and Icon UCAs. My wheels are completely flush with the fender. 0 offset will stick out past the fender about an inch. There aren't many options in +30 wheels, so 0 is generally the choice.

You will need to cut the crash bars up front, I had to cut them back past just unbolting the outer part. There are also 'waffle boxes' behind the fender liner at the rear of the wheels. You will need to pull those off too, with the rear crash bars. As it stands, I have no clearance issues when flexed out.
