What rear lift did you go with? OME or add-a-leaf or blocks?

Decided to try and fit 34” tires since there wasn’t a clear answer on here.

The truck is lifted 3” in the front and 1” in the rear. I replaced the intrusion beams with BDS intrusion beams and clearance is perfect. No rubbing from lock to lock and no rubbing under full articulation.

Truck is setup with the icon stage 5 kit and BDS extended shackles on icon 17” wheels

Attached images of a stock Ranger for comparison.

Were you able to reuse the factory TPMS sensors?

actually they're 33.5", which is also the same actual diameter as a lot of "34" labelled tires, like the BFG Ko2 in the 34x10.5 size

295/70/17 is technically a 33.3" diameter tire (depending on the brand). Not to burst your bubble, but you are more in the 33" than 34" range. I run the same size tires.

Been thinking about going to a 305/70/17, which would be a 33.8" tire. I have a 3.5" lift but I'm concerned the slightly wider tire would create rubbing issues. It's minimal but enough to make me weary.

295/70/17 = 33.3x11.6
305/70/17 = 33.8x12.0

295/75/17 = 34.4x11.6

Nitto makes the Ridge Grappler in an LT285/75R17/E. It's 33.86" tall with a section width of 11.26". I've been eying that and the 34-10/50R17 BFG KO2 which is a 33.5" tall with a 10.5" section width.

BFGoodrich makes a 34” tire that will work with those Icon wheels. It’s their 34/10.5/17 this is a narrower tire but taller and will work. I’m saving up to switch my wheel and tire set up to do this.

this "34x10.5" is only 33.5" according to the manufacturer, which is the exact same diameter as the OP's 295/70 according to the manufacturer.

He was worried about rubbing. There’s less worry of that with a smaller width tire
