Well, I've had a really good time with the Ranger and the 5g forum's for the last three years. I sold my Ranger yesterday and bought a new 2022 F-150 FX4 single cab.
I truly blame this on my wife due to her 2022 F150 FX4 supercrew we picked up back in March. Now that I have a new canvas on...
Have the rear tail light harness inpected. It's on the passenger side just above the exhaust pipe. Tail light harness plugs into the body harness and this is the one you need to inpect.
There is either a TSB or recall on it. If it's loose or has issues or water retention, it can and will load...
Yes, I highly recommend the trail armor! I have put these too the test and then some. Really protects the door sills from scuffing from all the mud and dirt!
Also thanks Frank/Stage3 for a sweet deal on Bilstein 5100's. Love them!! Nothing but praise for Stage3!!
Yup just finished my install this past weekend with the bilstien 5100 on all 4 corners with the RC 3.5 lift. Had to do it twice because at the stock ride hight setting I only gained 1/4 inch over my stock struts with the ready lift sst 3in kit.
Spoke with RC tech support and they told me I had...
RP is correct. You will need Forscan in order to program a new bliss sensor. Op... Just reuse the sensor you have unless it damaged. Not only that the sensors are programed side specific as I have previously experienced. I have a thread on this from the past. Just search my threads.
Here are...
No, I'm talking about the spacers that sit on the inside of the UCA'S. Zoom in on my pic and you can see the spacers that RC provides. These prevent the UCA from being squeezed to tight to the strut tower mount. Not sure if you kit came with these.
Yes the RC kit came with a diff drop for both...
Wow those UCA,s are really close to the strut frame mount. Are you sure that all of the spacers were placed on the inside of each bushing? Also could be your alignment needs to be adjusted out slightly to give more clearance?
Finished up the installation on Sunday. Just getting around to uploading pics. Apologies for all of the dirt but I don't have a Mall Crawler nor Hanger Queen. With the RC kit it was a huge difference in cv angle as compared to the 3 in Readylift. Sorry I didn't get pics of the cv angle before I...
Well at least you didn't have 6k in hit and run like I did. Sure wished I caught up with this person. It's all good now, spent about four weeks in repair as they couldn't find a new bed box. So we had to settle on panel replacements. These guys did amazing work.
Rough country sells the entire kit, for less than $600 without shocks. It includes the diff drop and UCA's. As a matter of fact I just started my installation of the kit this evening. I'm going from a 3 in Readylift SST kit that I installed back in 2019. At that time a 3.5 in option was a little...
Nothing overly special about the FX4. Shocks are junk anyway and if you plan to off road seriously you will quickly figure that out.
I have a sport 4x4 with rear locker. It's not strictly exclusive to the FX4. Terrain management, whoopty doo. Only for people with no off road experience. Learn...
I know it was a hard decision to make for the extra $500 to $700 for the diff drop but that's the direction I will go with my new 3.5. I've learned the hard way on my ole Tacoma that I was getting premature wear on the needle bearing on my inner diff. Once I added the drop all of that went away...
Thank the Good Lord we all take risk and survive!! If not we may never leave home daily. Have no idea how I survived the 70' as a kid and a teenager in the 80's.
Sweet ride!! I love my Cooper SST PROS. They are a beast in the mud!! Just curious, did you go with a diff drop on the 3.5 lift? I just bought a 3.5 kit for mine just for the upper control arms and diff drop.
Well thank you so much for clearing that up... Certainly I know what a 35 in tire is. What's your point other than we can't effectively run a 35in tire? Because you say we can't??? I think alot of people can disprove that... Regardless of what the Google gods say. Thank the Lord that Neil...
I guess this ole boy didn't take all of the arm chair quarter backs advice on this Forum... 37's, now that's a tire.
Just like this ole boy, it's your Ranger do what you want. I have and it take mine off road every chance I get with just a 3 inch level on 295 70 17 on stock struts with zero...
Yes it just happened on my new 2022 F150 B&O with Sync 4. Played well on stereo sound, but would cut in and out when I had it in surround mode. I was able to fix it by performing a factory reset through the sync menu. Problem solved
