2022 XLT Ford Ranger Cabin Air Filter

I have tried multiple cabin air filters and none of them fit like the stock one.

Could any of you recommend one for a 2022 XLT Ford Ranger?

I get mine from O'Reilly Auto. Wix filters.
Fit perfectly.

2021 XLT.
Already thrown the box away. I just walked in, told them what I drove, and they gave me options of manufacturers and I chose WIX.
Same with engine filter. Fit exactly. No issues.

All 2019-2023 Rangers take the same cabin air filter no matter what trim level you have. OEM is a Motorcraft FP88

I just bought a cabin air filter for my 2022 Ford Ranger and had fitment issues, as well, until I figured out what was wrong. Unfortunately in 2022 and 2023 Ford sold a North American version of the Ranger (based on the older generation) as well as an International version based on the newer design that wasn't sold in North America until 2024. Several manufacturers show results for only the International model of the 2022-23 Ford Ranger. Choosing any year between 2019 and 2021 will return the correct model number of the filter for 2022-23 North American Rangers.

After returning the wrong size filter, I bought the high-flow, washable, reusable, K&N filter no. VF2052. Although it costs about 4X the price of a paper filter, it is made of metal , has a rubber gasket, fits perfectly, and has dramatically increased air flow at the same fan settings (the airflow in my Ranger was terrible and on hot days it would take forever to cool the cabin; but not anymore). Also, I'll never have to buy a paper filter again as all I need to do is remove, clean, and reinstall the K&N every 15-20K miles.

Maybe I wasn't clear enough. In 2019 Ford reintroduced the Ford Ranger to the USA and North America market selling the already well-established International version of the Ford Ranger. In 2022 Ford came out with the NEW Ford Ranger which was sold in every market market EXCEPT USA (North America) where it continued to sell the old model through 2023 (Ford wanted to sell the older model in the USA for 5 years rather than only 3 years). In 2024 Ford began selling the NEW Ford Ranger (2022 International model) in the USA (North America). So, for two years, 2022 and 2023, Ford sold two versions of the Ranger, the old one in North America and the new one everywhere else. Unfortunately, some parts selectors think that ALL Ford Rangers moved to the new platform in 2022 and will sell you the newer model parts instead of the older model parts for the 2022-23 USA (North America) model.

In 2019, Ford re-launched the Ranger in a version made specifically for NA. Ford is not “selling the already well-established International version” here.
