Hello,
My first upgrade and post here on the forum.
I would really appreciate your thoughts and experience.

I'm in Nederland colorado 8500 ft, My driveway contains 5 lock to lock hairpin turns, then 5 miles of rough gravel roads and then 20 miles down a 50mph winding canyon. I run snow tires on the factory 18 inch wheels that came with my 2021 lariat fx4. Shoulder seasons here have patches of ice especially as the canyon gains elevation and occasional snow but I don't want to run dedicated snow tires 9 months of the year. I like to do up to level 3 and select level 4 trails a few times a year - maybe more with better setup.

I have the bronco 17 inch rims 7.5 wide 55 offset and this is my plan.
I chose the Nokian outpost nat tires for their light weight while l having tougher sidewalls and snow /ice capabilities. Haven't bought them yet. The daily canyon commute is heavy lean floaty backend doesn't stay planted you know the drill. So I'm considering the Eibach pro -truck coil over as for me I don't personally want the digressive shock ride, something smoother -linear /progressive shock valving. I don't want to just cut out the crash bars but daily lock to lock rubbing is my fear. I am tying to keep things light, I like a little rake to avoid saggy bottom with loads and it helps me see the trail better and I don't mind pizza cutter options.

Is this a good plan? anybody have experience with these tires and/or shocks especially together as a combination?
Thanks,
Joe

I have the Eibach setup on my truck. I am very happy with the ride. I have 255/70/18 which is the same height and width as the 255/75/17. I have my front coilovers set to about 3/4” of lift. I have plenty of room so you shouldn’t have to worry about the crash bars. I believe David @subquark has those Nokian tires.

Great memory, but I don't have those Nokian yet. I only have 12K miles and I'll need to wait until a bit more before I get them (LOL, at this pace, that'll be 8 more years! LOL, these Bridgestones may rot before they wear thin enough!). =D

That’s quite the commute!

I have a 2020 XLT 2WD. Calls for 265/65R17 tires. When I bought it April 1st it had brand new Cosmo Gripit XT 265/70R17 tires. They rub when I hit extreme hard turns.

I initially had my 255/75/17s on my stock FX4 suspension, full clearance and no rub. Now I have a suspension lift, but you'll be fine with these narrow 32s.

I had 255/75/17 on my 2022 4x2 ranger. No rub stock wheels. I do not know anything about the offset in the wheels you are using. The ranger was all stock suspension.
