Oh hi. I got the Velossa Tech a few months before the AfE was available.

The VT has more visual appeal if you're into that, the AfE looks like a practical design that makes one wonder why Ford restricted the same space. I haven't seen any benefits to the AfE part after installing it behind the Big Mouth. The VT accessory has given my highway MPG's a boost - the equivalent of two extra gallons of gas per tank.
I was wondering if you can pair the VT to the AFE - now I know!

Memory seats boy oh boy do I wish they had them. :frown:
You would think with both fronts being power this shoulda made the list. I guess the space for buttons is the issue.

The multiple examples of cost cutting in this thread can very likely be traced back the actions of the previous CEO Jim Hackett. Over his tenure at Ford he initiated multiple cost cutting plans across the board to the tune of over $14 billion. This certainly would impact every model Ford produces in multiple ways. This being the increased use of cheaper to produce components, the elimination of standard options, to overall build quality.

Hopefully the new CEO Jim Farley will make good on him promise to product quality and reverse the some of cost cutting actions of his predecessor that have negatively impacted the standard options and quality issues we have seen over the past several years.

Only time will tell I guess.

Agreed, hard to believe that at $45K a fully decked out Lariat does not have cooled seats or the power rear window.

One of the few complaints I have about the truck is the non vented leather seats in the Lariat. I mean even my wife's mid level '14 Hyundai Sata Fe has vented leather seats in it.

Some of the money you pay is for campain donations to sleepy joe and union employees retirement checks. You would be surprised how many thousands this adds to the price of each vehicle.

Must be a SuperCrew issue? Our 2019 SuperCab sounds solid.
I also own a supercab & couldn't be happier with the solid feel of the road( upgraded to Eibach front & rear Shocks) & 265/70/17 tires. When I close my doors it sounds good & solid so my February 2020 Ranger passes the test real well....Only 4 Tiedowns tho.

Filed against lemon law, I’m told it is only the second ranger in US that has been repurchased. Spent 24 days at Ford in 11 months with acceleration shuddering problem and AC problems
Then I must have been the 1st one. As mine was bought back in Mid 2019.

Things I noticed from 2019 to 2021
Xlt 301a sports pkg builds

-Power folding mirrors are no longer included in the 301a pkg
-wheel well lips are plastic and not painted magnetic gray to match bumpers on sports pkg
-as OP mentioned, the headrests no long fold in the backseat and don't seem to be adjusted in the fronts.
-the e-brake button is rubber instead of chrome

Everything else seems to be about the same that I can tell so far.

Mine was 4/19 and I have 6 (and since it was April, there were two spares in the tool storage area with bolts...;))
