So I spent most of the afternoon getting all my accessories removed from my 201 and installing on my 2021. Things I noticed that were different:
1) The wheel arches are no longer painted but textured black plastic (not sure if this is model wide for the Sport or due to the FX2 package). I switched them as well )sorry to who buys my old truck from Carvana).
2) There is no owners manual compartment in the glovebox, I may see how difficult it is to switch the whole glove box as well.
3) There are no floor mat posts on the passenger side, must have have saved for a whole $1 for that change.
4) there are no front parking sensors, my 2019 301A XLT had them, so not sure if they moved them to the Technology package or what the deal on this change is, that is pretty significant downgrade. I did not want the tech package as I don't need Navigation, but I would have liked the Adaptive Cruise, but not for $995.
5) Most obviously the base price went up $750, so cost cutting and a price increase. Usually manufacturers add features to keep the model fresh without a redesign, but Ford not so much.
EDIT 6) I noticed in the picture they also removed the EcoBoost badge from the tailgate, that must saved them, what twenty-five cents?
