Truck already has shackles
Think my tailgate end already has shackles on it... Will still try searching...
I can put 18 inch tires on the front and 16 on the rear? D'OH!!
Found one site that had them but it did not specify if they were for the 5G... been busy with busy stuff so will call when it slows down... Most of the drop shackles I have found are not for the 5G
Thanks for the reply..
Springs are from Icon... 4 leafs, but which one do you take out? A longer or shorter spring?
I have found some lowering shackles recently so maybe that is the way to go..
Thanks!
Anyone have an idea on how to lower the rear end of my Scab. I had my ranger nice and leveled with stock springs but replaced the rear springs with Stage 3 aftermarkets. The ride is much better now but I have about 2 inches of rake which I do not want. Stage 3 says they settle over a few...
Mine is level but off center enough to notice it. From looking on line there are 3 bolts on each side?
What did you have to take off to get to and loosen them?
Didnt the PDN and R on the center shift console light up until mid 2020? Also thought the one option package or trim level had the "Ranger" illuminated in the rocker panels... Its just a sticker in mine?
Since this is about front end alignment.. My hood and fenders line up...
Anyone have the lower front bumper off to one side or the other and be able to shift and center it?
Mine is shifted to the drivers side a bit.. 1/4 inch or so but it is noticable... once you notice it..
Actually spent time reading some parts in the manual that came with it.. learned a lot..
Is there an easy way to keep the gear select display illuminated all the time? Other than hit the + or - every so often?
The one that has recently caught my ear...

First "car" I owned was a 4X4 Subaru Bratt.. My high schcool buddy had a 4WD Chevy S10 with big tires on it, at least they seemed big to me back in the day. We went off roading often and mudding a few times. I got stuck once in a rutted swamp area and he pulled me out. If I had to pay for...
Get the 4WD... If you need it, you have it.
A 2WD truck with street tires can get stuck on wet grass going downhill.. Granted the driver was borrowing it from a friend but with no weight in the bed and a clueless driver..
Also helps with resale value...
Have heard a lot about what is going to happen in a few podcasts. Most people arent sure what is going to happen but the future of vehicle purchasing will probably be a mix of what it was, off the lot, and then the more European model of order and wait. Here in the USA, for the most part, the...
My Ranger is black with the black appearnane package. Took the FX4 off and kind of like the clean look.
Also removed all my dealer decals and plate frame as well...
The FX4 was Red and went well with the tailights.
No plans to add them back. If I did they would be grey/black..
My first truck was a 20+ year old 4X4 F150. I leaned Ford cause my friends had them and had good luck with them. For the money I spent on the purchase, and didnt have to spend on upkeep, Ol Sanford and Son did very well. So Ford started to earn some loyalty from me. Next F150 purchased was...
Looks modern and has a lot of edges..
Seems like a lot of manufacturers going with the large plastic extrernal wheel wells...
Let us know how it compares to your Ranger...
