2022 XLT Ford Ranger Cabin Air Filter

OK, fine. The point is that Ford Rangers were built off of two different platforms in 2022 and 2023 and that some parts selectors don't recognize the difference between the USA and International versions of the 2022 and 2023 Ford Ranger. I find this repeatedly on Amazon sellers and I also found it on K&N's own product selector, too. If I search for 2022 Ford Ranger parts for my USA truck I will sometimes be offered parts that are claimed to fit the 2022 USA model but that only fit 2024 and later USA models. The dead giveaway is if the parts selector says that the part is compatible with 2022 Ford Ranger and the Ranger Raptor; the Ranger Raptor was not offered in the USA until 2024 and is built on the newer platform. I suspect that the mistake lies in UK-developed rather than USA-developed parts selectors. If in doubt, I search any year between 2019 and 2021 to guarantee that the parts selector is giving me the correct USA model parts.

This has often been my experience with Amazon, especially your observation about the third-party sellers.

I have a 2024, and it is hard finding parts that fit. The dealer is usally dead on but double in price. Found that out real quick with front tow hooks. But, WIX is the brand i go to for perfect fit.

Eli, does yours not have tow hooks because it’s a 4x2 or were you simply looking to change colours?

They stopped putting them on 4x2. Even though i have a rear locker i still do not have them. They are now only offered on 4x4s.
I use them regularly enough so i had to make the investment.

I went and got it yesterday and it’s the exact same as the stock air filter. Works great
