I was thinking the same but would need to be 0.32 like the pic above , but add a locking tab to attach it at the frame mounting bolts vs side to side each bolt would have its own positive lockCould drill and wire the bolts like aircraft hardware.

So that start stop clunk was 90% better. However, from 20-30 mph there was a very loud vibration from the driveshaft. I ended up stopping in a Meijer parking lot to remove the thing before I got on the freeway and had nowhere to stop.Well did it help?
I got one of those too ! I had a slight rumble at 20 to 30 and jamed it in there and it fixed the slight rumble at 20 to 30 !!!I just remembered that I had this doohicky Shawn with Tom Woods Driveshaft made to try and reduce the play in the carrier bearing. I just shoved it in and figured I would see if it made any difference before I order this aftermarket unit.

I have not had any crazy driveshaft issues to warrant the JXB to “fix” something. I was really interested for it to be preventative mod.I got one of those too ! I had a slight rumble at 20 to 30 and jamed it in there and it fixed the slight rumble at 20 to 30 !!!
Sadlythough, a considerably worse rumble appeared at 50 + ... the original slight rumble has either just faded away or I'm tuned to it now
but if it ever starts again I'll order a one piece and be done...
If I stop posting sometime mid May, it is because this failed and I polevaulted into oncoming traffic. Wish me luck.Keep us posted
$$$$$$I stand corrected. Looks like Knoxville Driveline has made a Tremor specific 1 piece.

It might be apples and oranges, but I come from the Explorer Sport Trac world where the carrier bearings are also a problem as they age out. On Sport Tracs the bearing is replaceable on a 2wd but not on a 4wd, with a 4wd you have to get a whole new driveshaft. Rock Auto had by far the best price.I seen that too and I am interested. Would be a lot cheaper then buying a new drive shaft.
But I was under the impression the bearing is not removable without damaging the driveshaft.
One issue with a 2 piece drive shaft is the vibration. I'm wondering how much this setup will lessen that.
