Jeanie and I like Manuel's too. Good stuff.
I’ve never been but I did find a place in Avondale that had great tacos one day when I was out in the Estrella Mtns, mountain biking. Don’t remember the name but it was a small place - very basic - like a mom & pop cafe with great, cheap eats. So good!

That’s our plan. I have to see what they want to eat but I know they like Mexican. Plus, I hear a Chimi calling my name! 😁

Had a great time up in Goodyear and meeting up with our friends for lunch. Went to Manuel’s for Mexican and the Chimichangas were great as always. I think they lost money giving us unlimited chip & salsa!

Before lunch I dropped off my Ranger off at Brakes Plus where I know the manager and they’ve done the majority of the work on both my Rangers. Had the Diff fluids changed along with the transfer case, and lube the slip joint. He said the rear was clean (was changed anyways) but the front was pretty dirty and a little metal in there but nothing concerning.

After picking it up I surprised Annie going over to Scottsdale to pick up a piece of furniture I ordered for her a couple weeks ago. We had the same 2 pieces in our last house but I sold them when we moved and haven’t heard the end of it since. lol The second piece won’t be done for another 4-6 weeks which was her favorite piece. I told her they couldn’t get that one anymore so she’ll be really surprised next time. And I’ll be out of the dog house. Lol 🐶

This is in the entry and it's nice because it's only 10" deep so it doesn't stick out into the walkway. I have a couple southwestern pieces that go on the top but they're still in one of the last 2 boxes we need to open.

Checked out the 38th episode of the Kilauea Volcano eruption. I live just down the road so I get to see most of them, but each are unique.

Great shots Ray! I just read up on it since I've never heard about this before. Really interesting how it erupts throughout the year like this but I don't think I'd want to be living all that close to it. lol

This was an article from back in June telling about it.

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/kilauea-volcano-erupts-again-lava-330-feet-high/

One of the world's most active volcanoes, Kilauea on Hawaii's Big Island, began spewing lava from the north vent Wednesday, the latest event in an ongoing eruption that began almost six months ago.

Lava fountains reached heights of more than 330 feet, feeding multiple lava streams. Scientists with the U.S. Geological Survey's Hawaiian Volcano Observatory said the fountains were likely to go higher.

The latest event was preceded by gas-pistoning, in which gas accumulates at a lava column's top within a vent, on Tuesday.

The observatory said this process causes the lava surface to rise or piston. "Eventually, gas escapes as spatter/lava is erupted, and lava drains back into the vent," the observatory wrote.

These were occurring up to 10 times an hour, but increased in intensity until a small, sustained dome fountain began to feed flows to the crater floor a day later.

It is the 25th eruptive episode since the volcano on the southeastern part of the island began erupting Dec. 23. It has been pausing and resuming since.

Most of the eruptive episodes have spewed lava for about a day or less, with pauses between them generally lasting a few days.

Thank you! Yes, we have episodes every couple of weeks. Some of them go as high as 1,500 feet, spraying tephra and ash for miles! We live off of rainwater catchment ranks so we have to be careful! The ash is also terrible for the paint, but it comes off easily because I use 303 :)

That has to be cool and kind of scary at times seeing it erupt? We do plan to go out there one day and Annie is part Hawaiian and has been there 8 times but it's been a while since she's gone.

🤔 I should try and get 303 to do an advertisement with you and your Ranger for Graphene. What a commercial it'd be having ash flying all over and then just rinsing it away because you use their product. lol 😁

Beware of Pele's hair. Which I'm sure you are aware of that being so close 🤙

I learned 10 50lb bags of corn will fit in the bed with the tonneau cover closed. Probably could have fit 12 if I tried. Probably useless knowledge but now you know lol.

Deer came up through my yard again this morning - my neighbour two houses down, puts corn out on her driveway for them. I’m sure they’d survive without it but she does it anyway. She also puts out peanuts at the foot of their bird feeder. The neighbour between us tells me the raccoons get to them before the squirrels or birds have a chance. :D

Hauled 150lbs of groceries out of the woods. Wife already requested snack sticks lol.
Clearly, deer would not make it all the way through your yard. :D

I’ve hunted SC several times. Based on the animals I’ve seen that was either two deer or a hog 😂
