Kinda, also we live in Los Angeles so no basements and small homes in our tax bracket.
Yeah that sucks. We have a basement here but the walls are cracked and bowing inward. Kinda wished we didn't have one lol.

My mother-in-laws basement was having issues like that. The one wall had bowed in so far that it snapped the sill plate.

She didn't have much $ so we wound up footing the repair bill for it. Right at $25,000 for the foundation repair guys to install 15 dead-man anchors in the ground outside about 10 ft from the foundation on three sides, drill holes in the blocks, drive sections of threaded rod through the holes in the block, through the ground and secure them to the dead-man anchors. Once that was done, they installed 2'x3' plates against the blocks and secured the plates to the threaded rod. It was pretty amazing to see them pull that wall back straight. About once a month for year, we had to re-torque the nuts & cut off the extra threads.

They couldn't use the same system on the south wall so they had to bolt angle iron brackets to the basement floor, then stand I-beams upright between the angle iron and wall. They secured a 2x12 to the floor joists and then added jigs to tighten between the I beams and 2x12. Same deal, the wall straightened out and again, for about a year we had to re-torque the bolts on the jig.

Similar situation for us. South and north walls are shot. Not sure of the sides cause those have finish walls covering them I've yet to remove.

We're first time home owners and was not expecting this large of of issue, and don't exactly have the money so gonna probably have to finance this bs too.

Spent a chunk of my afternoon modifying the brackets for the RCI engine skid so they work with my FP Bumper.

Once you know what needs to happen it's not too bad but it can be daunting when you're trying to figure out how to make the adjustment.

I get all finished up and see this ??ā€ā™‚

Gotta give the RCI guys a call now that's not supposed to look like that. It's one of two forward mounting points on the oil pan skid.

I should have posted this yesterday afternoon. I bought a set of Go Rhino RB20 black powder coated running boards from Lone Star Conversions in Sherman and had them installed. Talk about a good improvement, it's so much easier entering and exiting the truck and it seems to handle better with the extra sprung weight.

I’ve wanted those for some time but can’t pull the trigger.
Same here. I finally called SVC for some details and after our discussion I placed the order.

Do they cost way too much, yes. Do they look beautiful, also yes. Ha.

Changed the oil. Just finished 1/2 hour ago. Always so nice feeling the love just roll off of a vehicle when you give it fresh oil.

Can’t wait to drive it later today. That extra 42HP from fresh oil is always a blast!
